Move Rest Be is here to help you move well, rest deeply and connect with your authentic self. We offer innovative treatments and restorative yoga practices, informed by science and led by an intuition for nurturing mind and body. At our beautiful Robin Room clinic, we are delighted to bring you Five Elements acupuncture, facial acupuncture, clinical massage and holistic massage.

Move Rest Be is run by me, life and Earth scientist Chloë Finch-Kent PhD. My ethos and offerings are the result of academic study, training in acupuncture, physical therapy and yoga and a fascination with how we can change, from our cells and tissues to our thoughts and behaviours.

At Move Rest Be, our vision for supporting physical and mental health is based on clinical and complementary approaches, scientific research and tailored solutions that are as unique as you are. We’d love to work with you, whether you are recovering from injury, want to calm anxiety or simply wish to restore yourself through deep rest. Feel free to get in touch today!

About Chloë

Move Rest Be treatments at The Bird House are brought to you by little me, Chloë Finch-Kent PhD. I’m an acupuncturist, bodyworker and yoga teacher who appreciates the powerful link between mind and body. As a therapist, I’m proud to be qualified and insured as a Professional Member of the FHT (Federation for Holistic Therapists) and ANLP (Association for NLP).

My science background is in evolutionary and developmental biology (University of Cambridge PhD). I’m fascinated by the way tissues form and change, and I love spotting connections between developmental lines, neuro-myofascial meridicans and the many acupuncture lines used in Chinese medicine for relieving pain and other imbalances.

Here are my main therapy and yoga qualifications…

  • Facial Enhancement Acupuncture® Certification (2025)
  • Professional Diploma in Five Elements Acupuncture (2025)
  • Restorative Yoga Teacher Training Level 2 Certification (2023)
  • Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training Level 1 Certification (2021)
  • ISRM/LSSM Level 5 Professional Diploma in Soft Tissue Therapy (2019)
  • Level 3 Diploma in Complementary Therapies (2018)

Outside of work, I’m into aerial silks and rope, a bit of running and cycling, a lot of yoga and yoga nidra, and infinite juggling around family life!

I’d love to work with you! Feel free to get in touch to explore how I might support you with acupuncture, massage and restorative yoga practices.
