I offer psychotherapy to individuals and couples navigating complexity — whether that is trauma, relationship difficulties, identity questions, or a sense of being stuck in patterns that no longer serve them. People come to me in many different states: some feeling capable but disconnected, others overwhelmed, unsure, or struggling to make sense of what they are experiencing.
My work is relational, integrative, and trauma-informed, with a strong focus on attachment and emotional processes. I pay close attention to the therapeutic relationship itself, to issues of safety, consent, and power, and to the ways early attachment experiences continue to shape emotional responses, expectations of others, and patterns of closeness or distance. Therapy is a place where nothing needs to be rushed or performed; we work at a pace that respects what your nervous system — and your body — can tolerate.
I listen closely to both what is spoken and what is sensed. We may notice breath, posture, tension, or moments of settling, using the body as another source of information rather than something to push past. This can help emotions become clearer and more manageable, particularly where trauma or long-standing relational patterns are present. The aim is not to override defences, but to understand how they once protected you — and whether they are still needed now.
Alongside individual therapy, I work with couples and people in intimate relationships. I am especially interested in attachment patterns such as pursuit and withdrawal, cycles of conflict, loss of trust, emotional shutdown, and the impact of trauma on closeness and intimacy. My role is to help slow things down — in conversation, in emotion, and often in the body itself — so underlying needs can be felt, expressed, and responded to, and the relationship becomes something we can understand and work with together.
