Soul-Centred Counsellor

We use the word ‘soul’ to mean something genuine, meaningful, that nourishes a deeper part of ourselves. Although not tangible, when we encounter soul it somehow feels more real than our everyday lives, and stirs a hidden longing within.

Soul-Centred Counselling speaks to this hidden longing. It helps us to move through and let go of the painful patterns of the past, and into a more expansive, soulful sense of ourselves, with more depth, creativity and joy, within and around us.

At the heart of my approach to counselling is a trust in the wisdom of the soul, and I draw on a range of trainings, disciplines and practices to do this. These include meditation, embodiment, dialoguing, creativity, dreamwork and play.

Training, Qualifications and Experience

I originally trained in Integrative Psychosynthesis Counselling at Re-Vision, and qualified in 2015. I also trained and qualified with the Institute of Embodied Psychotherapy in 2023.

I am fully insured, and a member of the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society, abiding by their code of ethics. I have regular training and supervision with the Institute of Embodied Psychotherapy and peer supervision with a small group of colleagues.

I live in West Penwith, and I enjoy walking, songwriting and dancing. I also have a Buddhist practice that nourishes and informs my life and my work.
